Many people find it difficult to give or receive sincere words of praise. but, done correctly, such encour– agement can have lasting benefits for both parties involved. Think about it. If you never received any sign of approval or recognition in some project you're involved in, you might wonder if you were getting anywhere. (that's flattexy). but be on the lookout for opportunities to point out a job well done. General praise is OK ("you did a good job), but it's more personal and comes across as more sincere if you com– pliment the person on something specific. Be observant and notice new things and special efiorts. When you receive a compliment, how should you answer? You don't need to get embarrassed and say "Aw, it was nothing". The best answer is usually just a simple "thank you". Freshly cut for all occasions in a variety of colours. Getting married this summer ? Come and cut the flowers of your choice.
